About Us
Every product I have designed over the years has been to solve a problem I was experiencing in my own life. I never once sat out to design a product with the intention to sell it. From designing the Centerline Wedges, to the Black Tie Audio Single Driver Studio Monitor System, to various electric guitar innovations, to a "Quiet" snare drum, each had a purpose mainly for me. If it turned out great, I made it available to anyone and everyone.

Centerline wedges came about as a result of my years as both a musician and a systems designer. Over and over, I have experienced the exact same issues everyone faces with the stage wedges of other manufacturers. If you are a musician and you're tired of having your face ripped off by a horn flare in your wedge, or lived with uncontrollable feedback, I've been there. If you are a front of house engineer who is tired of trying to mix over a second PA system on the stage floor, I've done that too.

The first indication that I needed to start making wedges came from several conversations I had with a few major manufacturers about making and designing wedges as a singular-focus, and not just an afterthought. Additionally, I knew that IEMs (In Ear Monitors) were not the answer for the problems massive sized wedges were a bad idea. I made design suggestions as to what my clients were looking for, and from what I had experienced as a player myself and was ultimately met with negative responses as to why they were not interested in making specifically designed floor monitors. Ultimately one remarked..."Well, you can always make your own". So, it was off to the races, and 14 years later, here we are.
Are you a church that has spent a gazillion dollars on renovating your stage to look great, yet the look has been ruined with big black monitor boxes sitting up there that have wires hanging out the back? Yep, I've heard that a gazillion times too. The biggest reason of all was when I first experienced in-ear monitors as a player. I have never felt so disconnected from the rest of the band in all my life. Terrible. In fact, I'd rather stay home than play through in-ear monitors. One time was all it took, and I knew I would never do that again.
That was when I decided something had to be done. Most of the other wedges in the world are just an afterthought for the big manufacturers where they take a regular PA speaker, cut a wedge out of the back and plop it on the floor...and voila...there's your monitor.
In 2010, I decided to begin my quest in designing, prototyping, and building a series of monitors that would solve most if not all the problems we all face in monitor world. Surprisingly enough it was a fairly easy task because all I had to do was incorporate all my experiences as a player, engineer, and designer with what made sense. If it made sense I did it. If not, I didn't. Simple eh? And it worked! The first units were shipped in 2011, and hundreds of units and 15 years later, not one single customer has returned one for any reason! Quite proud of that,
Currently we are offering four models that should satisfy most situations, but we have more things in the works and are soon to follow. For now, our Mini Wedge is the one most people want anyway, because it solves the most problems. However, DO NOT,
I repeat, DO NOT let its mini footprint fool you! The Mini is a force to be reckoned with.
It will throttle way up without ever sounding bass heavy, boxy, or overbearing. Go ahead, fill your stage up with them and experience true 4-dimensional monitoring the way
God intended.

Enjoy!
